Vesa's Pedigree

Newborn Vesa (right)

The name Vesa means sprout or young tree. He is a white ram lamb born through AI from the frozen semen from Finland. (AI litters are usually smaller.) There is a 50% chance he will carry for grey. Vesa had a lot of pheomelanin pigment at birth. This is a tan or peach colored pigment which is found more in the primary fibers (hair), rather than the secondary fibers (wool). Vesa had a white body from birth but reddish legs and dark pigment inside his ears. As he gets older the pigment on his legs is starting to fade a bit.
