"Rammy-lamby"(Timmy x Jill) Update: September 6, 2008I sold Rammy-lamby to a Polypay breeder from Hagar City, Wisconsin who wanted to increase the percentage of Finnsheep genetics in his Polypays. When they came to pick him up, they were very impressed with his friendly, calm demeanor. I hope that Rammy-lamby has a good life up north with his new girlfriends. I am leaving Rammy-lamby's page on the website for reference since he is the sire of some of my sheep. 8 months old Rammy-lamby is a very nice boy. He was born in April 2003. He is a very handsome, masculine ram. His wool is pure white, but he has nice, dark pigment in his nose and eye rims. He also has black hooves which look very attractive. He is our most difficult sheep to photograph because whenever I go into the pasture he is my constant shadow. I can never get far enough away to take a good picture! He is docile enough that I can change his jacket out in the middle of the pasture without a helper. He just stands still and lets me change his clothes! Rammy-lamby is the sire to the following March 2004 lambs: Bo (a twin out of a small ewe-lamb), and Emmi, Panda and Sparky (triplets out of large ewe lamb). Rammy-lamby's lamb fleece won 2nd in its class at the 2004 Michigan Fiber Festival and 1st in its class at the 2004 Wisconsin Sheep and Wool Festival.
