"Joe"

Joe is currently training in obedience, agility and tracking. Joe wishes his mother would spend more time training him! While Joe is from working lines (obedience and herding), I decided to pursue his breed championship. I wanted to show that working dogs can be pretty too.

Joe completed his Companion Dog title (CD) in August 2006 at the Marshfield Kennel Club show under judge Wayne Koutsky.

Joe's brags so far:
- 7 points and both majors toward his Conformation Championship.
- 1st place Open Dogs - 2002 Border Collie National Specialty (Mrs. Pat Hastings).
- Best of Winners - Southeastern Iowa Kennel Club (Mrs. Caroline Herbel).
- Winner's Dog - Holland Michigan Kennel Club (Mr. Linton Moustakis).

Joe is very a very fast, high-drive dog when he is working. However, he is an excellent house-dog. When he gets done working, he is happy to "hang out" and be my buddy. He is also very snuggly.
