Uma is the largest ewe our my flock and has very nice bone. She is the "queen bee" and leader of the other ewes. She is also very outgoing around people. She was raised by her mother, but is as friendly and calm as our sheep who were bottle lambs. I saw Uma as a baby and was impressed by her beautiful, glistening wool. It sparkles! I was very pleased that I was able to purchase her as part of the foundation of our flock. Uma is a litter-sister to Katja.

Uma produced triplets (Emmi, Panda and Sparky) in 2004 as a ewe-lamb when bred to Rammy-lamby. In March 2005, she produced quads bred to Martti. Number 16 is one of these quads. In April 2006, she produced a single when bred to Martti. However, this was after being chased in January and we think she may have lost and reabsorbed her other lambs.

Uma generally passes on her size and calm, friendly personality to her lambs.
